Date: 2016-04-26 04:55 pm (UTC)Believe me, I am terribly grateful not to have to dodge paparazzi. Writers are generally solitary creatures, used to being alone with their latest book for hours on end. That would be hard to manage if we were social and public creatures. While I certainly envy GRRM the fame of his books, I don't envy him for the very public figure he has inevitably become.
